Kazimierz Ździebło
Photographer, psychologist, psychotherapist, sociotherapist, culture activist, curator, founder of PozyTYwka Foundation.
As a photographer, he works with a number of festivals (incl: Sounds Sanatorium, Festival of Ephemeris Art Context, Biennale Wro, Evenings at the Arsenal, Avant Art Festival, Industrial Festival, The International Film Festival Hommage a Kieslowski, Into the Abyss Fest), cultural institutions (WRO Art Center, Firlej, Impart, Center for Artistic Initiatives, Entropy Gallery), journals (Glissando, Popupmusic.pl). His photographs can be found in catalogs of many festivals and artistic events (incl. In Between Festivals, Art Impossible, Sounds Sanatorium), as well as on the covers of various albums (incl.: Michael Zerang, Kolapps, Mentor). He steadfastly tries to document Wrocław’s underground. In 2018 during the 16th the Survival Art Review, he and Paweł Romańczuk prepared a sound installation entitled “CupItAll”. In June of this year he had his first self-contained photographic exhibition entitled “Moves, Illusions, Pretexts” during the 15th Mandala Performance Festival. From 2009 to 2016, as a curator, together with Dariusz Fodczuk, they created and built artistic direction of the Academy of New Art, which was attended by outstanding Polish and foreign artists (incl.: Lenka Klodova, Arti Grabowski, Mirosław Bałka, Rafał Bujnowski, Jerzy Kosałka, Rafał Jakubowicz, Cezary Duchnowski, , Stanisław Krupowicz, Agata Zubel, Pawel Romańczuk, Artur Żmijewski, and many others).
As a photographer/psychotherapist/artist, he is interested not only in a human being and their emotions, experiences, but also in meeting and influencing of the social environment not only on their interior, thoughts and feelings. He believes in the beneficial influence of the art (not only) on our mental condition.
