Rabih Beaini
Lebanese-Italian producer and DJ Rabih Beaini has been crafting a unique sound for over two decades, blending organic techno with avant-garde electronics. His emotionally charged and texturally nuanced productions have appeared on prestigious labels such as Detroit’s Sistrum Recordings, Amsterdam’s M>O>S, and Berlin’s Styrax.
Beaini gained critical acclaim for his debut album What Have We Learned, with later releases like Albidaya (Annihaya) and Dismantle/Music For Vampyr (Honest Jon’s) solidifying his status as one of the most original voices in contemporary electronic music. Drawing inspiration from krautrock to new wave, his project Upperground Orchestra explores the boundaries between electronics, techno, and improvised jazz.
To this day, Rabih Beaini remains one of the most influential visionaries in electronic music, both as an artist and curator. His work consistently expands the boundaries of techno and experimental sound, merging analog textures with global influences and avant-garde exploration.
