Piotr Wojtczak

Share:

Piotr Wojtczak is a sound artist whose work, initially inspired by club music production, has evolved toward formal experimentation and unconstrained explorations of timelessness, fleeting events, and sonic detail—often within raw sonic material. In live performances, he frequently employs feedback and elements of improvisation, freely navigating between subtle minimalism and dense, multi-layered, neurotic, and expressive soundscapes. He has performed at festivals such as Unsound, Sanatorium of Sound, Ars Independent, JazzArt, Fonomo, Nowa Muzyka, Mózg Festival, and Boiler Room, as well as in iconic clubs like Berlin’s Ohm, Las in Poznań, and Pogłos in Warsaw.

As part of The Office at the Sanatorium, he will present material developed during last year’s #26 Microresidency — adapted to the specific microclimate of the Spa Park and fully utilizing the psychoacoustic potential of BDK’s multichannel system.
