Anton Lukoszevieze
Born in 1965, Anton Lukoszevieze — descendant of a French Napoleonic soldier and Lithuanian aristocrat — is a versatile artist: cellist, composer, improviser, and interdisciplinary creator. He is the founder and director of the legendary music group Apartment House, with which he has recorded over 50 albums. His latest solo album Le Jardin des Plantes was released on the prestigious label The Trilogy Tapes, confirming his status as one of the most original voices on the contemporary experimental music scene.
At Sanatorium of Sound, he will present a new project inspired by the work of Władysław Strzemiński — avant-garde pioneer and co-founder of the Museum of Art in Łódź. The project was commissioned by Sanatorium of Sound and the Museum of Art in Łódź.
