Emilia Konwerska
Poet, literary scholar, journalist, and curator. Her texts have appeared in Krytyka Polityczna, Vogue Poland, Znak, and Tygodnik Powszechny. She is an editor at Notatnik Literacki and the author of two poetry collections: 112 (papierwdole) and The Last and First Caiman (Ostatni i pierwszy kajman, Wydawnictwo J). Twice nominated for the Gdynia Literary Prize, her books have been translated into Ukrainian and Serbian. Her short story collection Rzeczy robione specjalnie (“Things Made Intentionally”) will be published this year by ArtRage. She lives in Wrocław.
Emilia Konwerska is undoubtedly one of the most distinctive voices of the younger generation in Polish poetry. Her work explores themes of everyday life, intimacy, and human relationships, characterized by precise language, emotional depth, and a sensitivity to fleeting moments and emotions.
