Hania Rani – Chilling Bambino
Hania Rani is an acclaimed pianist, composer, and singer, celebrated for her captivating blend of classical and contemporary music. Her debut album “Esja” (2019) received international praise and won four Fryderyk Awards, including “Best Debut Album” and “Best Alternative Album”. Her second album, “Home” (2020), expanded her musical palette by incorporating vocals and electronics, earning the “Best Composer” award and a spot in Rough Trade’s “Albums of the Year”. Rani’s latest work, “Ghosts” (2024), showcases her evolving style with ethereal compositions featuring contributions from Duncan Bellamy, Patrick Watson, and Olafur Arnalds.
Born in Gdansk, Rani splits her time between Warsaw and Berlin. Known for her evocative performances, she has played in prestigious venues across Europe, North America, Australia, and Japan, including sold-out shows at NOSPR, Elbphilharmonie, and The Roundhouse. Her diverse collaborations include working with artists like Vikingur Olafsson, Portico Quartet, and Christian Löffler. Beyond music, she has ventured into film scoring and sound art installations, demonstrating her broad artistic vision.
