Kama Sokolnicka is a visual artist and graphic designer whose practice is grounded in listening and editing, understood as conceptual methods of working. Employing drawing, collage, painting, installation, and sculpture, she creates works that emerge from observing the movement of thought and often take the form of affirmative reflections on error—in reading, listening, and understanding. Although her works are frequently silent objects, many evoke the possibility of sound, inviting viewers to imagine acoustic presence through visual form.
