Lucio Capece

Lucio Capece is an Argentine experimental composer and instrumentalist based in Berlin. His work explores the physical and spatial properties of sound through an expansive range of sound sources, including speakers suspended from helium balloons, analogue synthesizers, noise generators, drum machines, ultraviolet light emitters, as well as bass clarinet, soprano saxophone, and slide saxophone. He is a key figure within Berlin’s experimental music scene, developing a practice deeply informed by the open-ended, exploratory legacy of John Cage.
